VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

The Volunteer Website Registration process to date is not up and running. 

Therefore, for the 2009-2010 season we will be resuming the paper format used in prior years. Please read carefully below so that you receive credit for the hours you have volunteered for the current season. (April, 1 2009-March 31st 2010.

The following guidelines are in accordance with the Policy and Procedures manual regarding the volunteer fees.

  • All WCYHA families are required to volunteer a MINIMUM of 10 hours per family for the current season.  

  • It is the responsibility of each family to fill out their Individual Volunteer Form, track their own hours, have appropriate committee chairpersons, or a board member sign the form and return to the volunteer coordinator prior to March 31, 2010 to receive credit for their volunteer hours.
     
  • Hours are accumulated based on actual time spent on the activity. 
  • Managers are responsible for submitting the Team Volunteer Form.

The following positions receive an automatic waiver of the volunteer credit...

Board Members
Webmaster
Wreath Sale Coordinator
Blue Line Coordinator
Miller Park Coordinator
Picture Day Coordinator
Volunteer Coordinator
Association Referee Scheduler
Coaching Committee Member
Association Ice Scheduler

In addition, Managers, Schedulers, Head Coaches and two assistant coaches per team receive the 10 hours needed to complete the volunteer requirement for the hockey season.

There are still many opportunties to complete your hours for the current season.
